Speedchain is an Atlanta based fintech that delivers modern commercial card and expense management tools for Commercial Construction Clients.
The Speedchain platform powers advanced spend management and modern commercial card issuing. It was built for general contractors and provides tools for finance teams managing project-related spend. It enables highly visible and controllable credit and debit card programs, making job cost tracking more efficient and receipt management easy for every team member.
We are seeking a talented Junior Graphic Designer to join our dynamic team and help elevate our brand through innovative and compelling visual content.
Role Overview
As the Junior Graphic Designer, you will be at the forefront of our visual storytelling. You will play a crucial role in creating marketing materials, enhancing product designs in Figma, and elevating our brand collateral. You will also oversee video editing and product demo creation, ensuring that our visual content aligns with our brand identity and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Marketing Materials:
- Design and produce high-quality marketing collateral including brochures, flyers, banners, and social media graphics.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure consistency in branding and messaging across all platforms.
- Develop creative concepts that effectively communicate our brand message and engage our target audience.
2. Figma Product Enhancements:
- Support the design and enhancement of product interfaces using Figma, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience.
- Work closely with the product and engineering team to translate user needs and feedback into impactful design improvements.
3. Brand Collateral:
- Oversee the creation and refinement of brand collateral including logos, business cards, presentations, and other materials.
- Ensure all brand assets are visually aligned with our brand guidelines and effectively represent our brand identity.
- Continuously review and update brand materials to keep them fresh and relevant.
4. Bonus point for Video Editing and Product Demos:
- Produce and edit engaging videos for various purposes including product demos, marketing campaigns, and internal communications.
- Collaborate with the team to storyboard and script videos that effectively showcase our products and services.
- Implement motion graphics and visual effects to enhance video content and maintain high production standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field. (UX knowledge is a plus)
- 0-2 years of experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in marketing materials, Figma design, brand collateral, and video editing.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, and video editing software (e.g., Premiere Pro, After Effects).
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- A creative mindset with attention to detail and a passion for visual storytelling.
