Blockchain Engineer

We are looking for an engineer with a background in Ethereum Blockchain and Smart Contracts to support the buildout of a unique B2B payment platform to process payments via the blockchain. This role will allow the blockchain engineer to work on unique assets across Speedchain’s Smart Contract Lifecycle product from building smart contract interfaces to advanced search.

Responsibilities 

• Knowledge of blockchain and Ethereum development tools (Solidity) 

• Familiar with developing Ethereum smart contracts written in Solidity 

• Familiarity with decentralized finance, upgradeable smart contracts, smart payments, and smart assets 

• High-level understanding of how blockchains work 

• Experience with agile and test-driven development 

• Interest in blockchain and enthusiasm for working in a relatively new space 

 

Requirements 

• 2+ years of experience as a blockchain developer using Solidity 

• Experience with deploying reputable DeFi or blockchain projects 

• Advanced proficiency in blockchain development and workflows for deploying Smart Contracts and Smart Assets 

• Extensive experience in back-end development, algorithms, and data structures 

• Knowledge about managing multiple blockchains and layers 

• In-depth knowledge of best practices in blockchain management and data protection 

• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
